It has been ages since I last posted a blog, so I thought I would post some photographs from the last few weeks:

There was a Cormorant sat on the rock.  I thought it would be good to see how close I could get to it.  I was pleasantly surprised.

It looked like this baby seagull had recently hatched on the roof and was wandering around.  It must have been hungry!

This is a view over the beach.  There was a sea fog coming in, in the distance.

I absolutely love photographing wildlife.  This is one of the seal pups that follows us around.  Seals are so inquisitive.

I took a walk down to the beach on Friday after work.  The weather was beautiful and I had time to sit and enjoy the peacfulness and beautiful scenery.

It has been so nice watching the Oyster Catchers with their chicks.  Seeing them running around on the beach and now the chicks have their adult feathers and can fly.

Another seal pup.  I think they are becoming tame.

Spotted this bird the other evening.  I wouldn’t want to be a mouse!

This seal is very used to us and I think it likes to pose for the camera too!

This is the seal pup of the adult seal above.  It also doesn’t mind us being around and likes to pose for the camera.

Adult and seal pup together.

I hope you have enjoyed these photographs.  Until next time.

My After Work Walk to see the seals

I finished work on Friday evening and it was lovely and sunny so I thought i’d take a walk down to the beach.  I noticed the seals were on the beach and then I noticed a man on a bike with a dog.  He scared all the seals back into the sea which was frustrating.

I didn’t let this deter me.  I stood for about 20 minutes until the seals started coming back out of the water again.  I took loads of great photos.  It was amazing just to watch and get close to the seals.

Below are a couple of piccies of the seals and also a picture of the sunset I took on Thursday night at 11pm.  I hope you like them.

Out Again with the Camera!

It has been another busy few weeks, but have been out and about and taken some more beautiful photographs.

There have been lots of seals about with their pups, lots of birds and lots of little chicks and eggs.

The weather has also been really beautiful.

I thought I’d post a couple of pictures for you to enjoy!  Until next time!
